The Chandler School’s Annual Fund Director Marries University Schoolmate

Mary Kathleen Hastings, Director of The Chandler School’s Annual Fund, was wedded to Matthew Sandford Boone on August 17 in Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa, Okla.

The happy couple will reside in Pasadena. The pair originally met while they attended University of San Diego.

The Very Rev. Bernard C. Scianna, OSA, presided the Sacrament of Matrimony, which was followed by a reception at Southern Hills Country Club, the Tulsa World reported.

Hastings was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Mr. and Mrs. E. Blake Hastings. Her grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Emil H. Hastings and the late Mr. and Mrs. John E. Rooney. She graduated college from Cascia Hall Preparatory School in Tulsa and obtained her degree in Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego.

Meanwhile, Boone is from Westlake Village and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Boone, Jr. His grandparents were Mrs. Ruth Boone Fulton and Mr. John L. Sandford. The groom is an alumna of Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village and obtained his Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of San Diego. He is the Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting of Green Dot Corporation.
