The Pasadena Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a woman who assaulted another woman at a Target department store.

A woman confronted another woman who allegedly cut the line in front of her about 7:40 p.m. at the customer service desk of Target, 777 E. Colorado Blvd., on April 25.

Witnesses said the woman called the victim a derogatory name in Spanish and the victim repeated the comment back to the suspect, according to police.

The suspect then, reportedly, dropped her purse and grabbed the victim’s face and clawed at her eyes. The victim then held onto the suspect until an employee approached.

Police said the suspect then picked up her belongings and ran out of the exit door. A surveillance picture captured the woman as she was leaving the store.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot, 4-inch light complexion Latino woman weighing 140 pounds, between the age of 30 to 35 with long, wavy hair. She was last seen wearing khaki pants, and a blue collared shirt with an unknown logo on the left chest area.

And she was last seen in a late model, dark-blue Jeep Cherokee.

Anyone with any information regarding the attack was asked to call Pasadena police detectives at (626) 744-4522.
