A crew of car thieves stole four high-end vehicles from a Pasadena Cadillac dealership early Monday, smashing the stolen luxury cars through the business’ gate to make their getaway, police said.
The crime unfolded just after 3 a.m. at Symes Cadillac, 3475 E. Colorado Blvd., said Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins.
A security company monitoring the car lot notified police that four vehicles had just been smashed through the gate of the lot and driven away, Dawkins said. At least five male thieves were believed to have been involved.
One of the vehicles, a Range Rover, was found abandoned in the middle of the road at Orange Grove and California Boulevard about 6 a.m., according to the lieutenant. It had moderate damage, presumably from smashing through the dealership’s gate.
The other three stolen vehicles remained outstanding, he said. Descriptions were not available Monday morning.
