Police are seeking three men they believe are responsible for a home invasion robbery on Friday.

Three black men, one armed with a handgun, reportedly ransacked the Westgate Street residence of two other men, said Pasadena Police Department Lt. Chris Russ in a telephone interview. One of the residents, a 38-year-old man, walked into one of the first-floor bedrooms and spotted one of the alleged robbers, Russ said. The man was kicked in the head and suffered minor injuries.

At that point, two other men located the second resident, a 43-year-old male, and assaulted him, also causing minor injuries, Russ said.

During the home invasion robbery, the three men purportedly took wallets, keys, cash, and assorted jewelry.

The first suspect is described as between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build, and reportedly has a handgun, Russ said. The second man accused by the victims of the home invasion robbery has a short Afro hairstyle, is in his mid 20s to 30s, and was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, Russ said. No further description was offered of the third suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pasadena Police Department at 626-744-4501.
