The victim, 45-year-old Robert Alarcon, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the laceration, Pasadena police Sgt. Paul Carpenter said.

The suspect is described as a 35 to 40-year-old black man who stands from 5’8″ to 5’11” in height.

Carpenter said not much else is known, and the suspect remains at large.
