Pasadena Police officers arrested two men who allegedly attacked two people then robbed two others of their cell phones Monday night in the 300 block of N. Lake Avenue.

The Pasadena Star-News reported that the two men used a gun to threaten the victim in one of the robberies.

Quoting Pasadena Police Lt. Mark Goodman, the Star-News said the suspects first assaulted a 62-year-old man before attacking another 29-year-old man after 8 p.m. on N. Lake Avenue.

Witness then saw the suspects board the Gold Line at Lake Avenue.

Goodman said after a short while, the same suspects punched a 51-year-old Pasadena man in the 1600 block of E. Colorado Blvd. and stole his cell phone. They next robbed a 25-year-old woman of her cell phone on N. Bonnie Avenue, showing a gun and threatening to shoot the victim, Goodman said.

Responding officers caught one of the suspects on Sierra Bonita Avenue and the other on the Gold Line platform on Allen Avenue, the Star-News report said.

The two men, identified later as Michael Taylor and Kijohn Combs, both 19 and Pasadena residents, were arrested and charged with assault and robbery.
