Two men accused of murder are scheduled to get another day in court Tuesday at the Pasadena Courthouse of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Enrique Real, who is charged with fatally stabbing a man in a CVS parking lot in the 100 block of East Orange Grove Boulevard, near Fair Oaks Avenue, at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2020, according to the Pasadena Police Department. Christopher Flores of Altadena was found on the ground bleeding profusely and later died at a hospital, police said.

Witnesses directed officers through an alley where the suspect was last seen running away. Real was found not far from the crime scene and was taken into custody without incident, police said.

A preliminary investigation determined the victim was walking north through a CVS parking lot with Real walking alongside in the same direction when, for unknown reasons, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim several times, police said at the time.

A bloodied knife and other evidence were recovered from the scene, according to investigators.

The hearing for Real will be held in Dept. F of the Pasadena Courthouse, 300 E. Walnut St.

A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Telly R. Johnson, who is charged with a man’s stabbing death in a jealous rage in downtown Pasadena on March 1, 2019.

Telly R. Johnson, 44, of Los Angeles is charged with murder for the stabbing death of 52-year-old Byron Nettles of Pasadena, according to Pasadena police officials and Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

The deadly stabbing took place about 9 a.m. in the 100 block of South Euclid Avenue, where Nettles lived, Pasadena police said in a written statement at the time.

Nettles was found suffering from stab wounds and taken to a hospital, where he was ultimately pronounced dead, officials said.

The killer ran away before police arrived, officials said. Officers searched the area for hours, but he was not immediately found. But the suspect was identified through subsequent investigation, officials said.

The hearing for Johnson will be held in Dept. F of the Pasadena Courthouse, 300 E. Walnut St.
