Two Southwestern Students Participate in the 13th Annual Pasadena Triathlon

Buk Sinsawat and Larsen Lopez competed in 13th Annual Pasadena Triathlon held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Rose Bowl.  Larsen finished in (1 hr, 2 min.) placing 6th overall in the competition.  Buk Sinsawat finished in (1:10) coming in 12th place.  Both boys were strong in different legs of the race.   The race began with the run and Larsen led all runners with an impressive 6 plus minute mile time (19:00 minutes for 3.1 miles). Buk surged back in the second leg of the race, which was the bike portion.  Both boys are happy with their times and performance as this was their first time in a triathlon.
