Pasadena police are seeking two suspects in a residential burglary that occurred Tuesday evening in the 1000 block of South Oakland Avenue.
According to Lieutenant Tim Bundy, the burglary occurred at approximately 7:16 p.m.
The victim, who was home at the time, reported seeing two men enter the residence through a back door. The victim hit a panic alarm, prompting the suspects to flee the scene.
This type of burglary is known as “hot prowl”n because the victim was in the residence at the time the burglars entered.
Officers who responded to the call found that the suspects had stolen miscellaneous jewelry pieces. The stolen items were recovered outside the residence.
The first suspect is described as a male of unknown race, approximately 5’10” with a thin build, and wearing a white mask and a white hooded shirt with a red and blue design. The second suspect is also a male of unknown race and was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt. It is unknown if the second suspect was wearing a mask.
No weapons were used during the burglary.
