Union Station Homeless Services Hires New Chief Development and Communications Officer

Mario Hess-Winburn has joined Union Station Homeless Services as the new Chief Development and Communications Officer. He will report directly to Anne Miskey, CEO of the organization.

The nonprofit provides shelter, meals, case management and other services to homeless people in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley.

Hess-Winburn has over 10 years of experience in development and communications. He will lead a 10-member team that works on fundraising and outreach for the organization.

“Mario understands and supports the mission of Union Station and has the experience to help us achieve our goals in this milestone year,” said Miskey.

Hess-Winburn holds a BA in Political Science from Iowa State University and an MS in Political Science from Southern New Hampshire University. He has helped raise millions of dollars for various organizations and developed successful communications strategies.

Union Station Homeless Services is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
