Up to 15 Venues Including Gamble House to Offer In-Person Programs for Spring ArtNight; Free Shuttle Buses to Return This Year

Up to 15 sites will provide free in-person programming including visual, literary and performing arts for Pasadena’s Spring ArtNight, set to unfold April 29, City Cultural Affairs Division Manager Rochelle Branch said during the meeting of the Arts and Culture Commission on Thursday, April 14.

In addition to the in-person venues, Branch said the public can also visit at least two virtual venues for the ArtNight, which will run from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Participants for the upcoming ArtNight include Gamble House, Pasadena Unified School District with Side Street Projects, Pasadena History Museum, USC Pacific Asia Museum, and the Armory Center for the Arts, according to the city’s website.

“I think it’s the first year in a long time that we have Gamble House as one of the locations which is very good to see,” Commissioner Yolanda Sepulveda remarked.

According to Branch, free shuttle buses will return for the ArtNight “because we have so many in-person venues” but according to the city’s website shuttle service will be limited due to regional bus shortages.

ArtNight is Pasadena’s twice-a-year signature cultural event. It is produced by the Cultural Affairs Division in partnership with locally prominent arts and cultural institutions.
