Victim Arrives at Hospital, Reports She Was Raped

Several people were detained in connection with an alleged rape of a woman at an abandoned building in unincorporated Pasadena.

The rape was reported at 5:36 p.m. Thursday, ABC7 reported, in an unincorporated area of Pasadena, just west of the Arcadia line near Colorado Boulevard and Quigley Avenue.

Arcadia Police set up a perimeter around the building, deputies from the Temple City station searched the building. Multiple homeless people were detained and were being questioned. The victim reportedly cut a hole in the tarp fencing surrounding the building to escape, according to sources at the scene.

The victim turned up at the Arcadia Methodist Hospital reporting that she had been raped in an abandoned building, according to sources at the scene.

A watch commander at the sheriff’s Temple could not be immediately reached for comment to determine if any of the detainees had been arrested.
