Father Anthony Scannell, Capuchin Franciscan Friar, has served as Pastoral Telecommunications Specialist for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles from 1996-2003 and Executive Publisher of the Archdiocesan newspapers from 2004-2007. President of the Los Angeles-based Franciscan Communications until 1990, he has been President of both the national and international Catholic association of broadcasters and a member of the Vatican’s Pontifical Commission for Social Communications. He is still active in parish ministry.
