COVID-19

Dear Pasadena Now Editor,

Are you aware that PUSD Superintendent Brian McDonald and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Elizabeth J. Blanco, are forcing their employees to show up on Monday, even thought the students won’t be attending.

Isn’t this under the current danger of the COVID-19 PANDEMIC a serious risk for the well being and health of those employees?

Please help?

Thank you
Concerned relative

DMV coronavirus and older drivers

I wish you would do a story about the policy of the California DMV to require drivers OVER 70 YEARS OLD to renew their drivers license in person at crowded DMV offices.

This continues despite the closure of thousands of businesses and public buildings and contradicts all the medical advice we are getting urging anyone over 60 to avoid crowds and practice social distancing.

Wouldn’t common sense be to suspend this requirement until the National Coronavirus

Pandemic Emergency is over?

Why make senior citizens risk their lives just to renew a drivers license?
