• The City of Pasadena has been “gifted” $2 million for letting the Rose Bowl game be played in Arlington, Texas. How much would rights to host the 2022 Rose Parade be worth, say to Dubai?
• Notre Dame team consoled in person by their parents, part of an 18,373 crowd allowed by the state of Texas to attend the game after California Governor Gavin Newsom ruled from his satellite office in The French Laundry that 400 family members could not maintain social distancing in the 92,542-seat Rose Bowl.
•  Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly, heady after getting the game moved from California, will ask Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert to file suit charging scoring irregularities and demanding that Vice President Mike Pence (an Indiana native!) overturn the game results and order a replay of the contest in Texas.
