Dear Editor,
Voting is to citizenship what breathing is to life.
A US citizen’s right to vote, as stated in the 15th Amendment, must not be denied.
Since states have the “power to regulate elections,”
how is denying voting rights a definition of “regulate?”
Voting is to a citizen’s political life what breathing is to life.
Thus, preventing ANY citizen from voting is to kill him or her politically.
On the scale being attempted, that smacks of political genocide.
Shame on those dealing in political genocide by denying people’s voting rights!
Shame on Whatchamacallhim, their pathetic enabler in the Senate!
Thank you for hearing my cry.
