Week Starts on A Wet Note, But Sun Set to Return Tomorrow

A cold front moving through the area will bring a chance of light rain and drizzle to the Pasadena area this morning, National Weather Service forecasters said Monday morning.

Today will also see a considerable plunge in temperature, likely to top out at just 67.

Sunny and warmer conditions are slated for a comeback on Tuesday. Fair weather is forecast for Wednesday with more warming on tap for Thursday. Unsettled cloudier and cooler weather is slated for the end of the week and the weekend.

Here is a detailed look at what the NWS predicts for the week:

Today: Patchy drizzle with a chance of rain before 11am. Mostly cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 67. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 50. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming northeast after midnight.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 71. North wind around 5 mph becoming south in the morning.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 76.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.
