In honor of its 125 years of service, the Pasadena Fire Department will be having a celebration and reflection on Wednesday May 1, at the Pasadena City Hall at 100 N. Garfield Ave.
This year, together with city dignitaries and the community, current and retired members of the Fire Department and their families, will get together where a 125th commemorative badge will be unveiled.
The badge will be given to and worn by sworn personnel for one-year.
The celebration will include the Department’s Color Guard, presentations by Mayor Bill Bogaard, City Manager Michael Beck, Fire Chief Calvin Wells, and Deputy Chief Kevin Costa.
The event will conclude with a Playing of Taps by members of the Pasadena Fire Department.
