The big UCLA vs. USC Football game is finally here, kicking off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena.

This Pac-12 Conference matchup will be the 90th meeting in the teams’ crosstown series. UCLA trails in the series 32-48-7. USC vacated two wins in 2004 and 2005.

The series is even at 4-4 over the last eight series meetings, with the winning team averaging 37.6 points in the eight wins.

UCLA has won three of the last four series meetings in the Rose Bowl. The last time an unranked UCLA team defeated a ranked USC squad was in 2006 in the Rose Bowl, 13-9.

UCLA is ranked 16th nationally in rushing offense (227.6) and has rushed for at least 200 yards in eight of the last 13 games.

Both teams will wear their home jerseys, a tradition restarted for the 2008 game. The winner of the game will take home the Victory Bell.

The 295-pound bell originally hung atop a Southern Pacific freight locomotive. It was given to the UCLA Alumni Association in 1939 and then, in 1941, was taken by a group of USC students.

A year later, the student body presidents of both schools signed an agreement that the winner of the football game would keep possession for the next year.

Saturday’s game will be televised by ABC. The Bruin IMG Radio Network will broadcast the contest, which will also be aired over SiriusXM, www.uclabruins.com and www.tunein.com, and the TuneIn App.
