Woman Loses Purses in Strong-Arm Robbery

A 42-year-old Pasadena woman lost her handbag and an undisclosed amount of money during a strong-arm robbery Wednesday night.

Police said the woman was walking on the sidewalk northbound on Los Robles Avenue at about 10 p.m. when a man in his 20s came up from behind her and grabbed the handbag from her left shoulder.

The suspect fled with the bag westbound on Buckeye Street, police said. Officers searched the area but did not find him.

Police further described the suspect as Hispanic and wearing a dark-colored jacket and dark-colored pants.
