Young Man Found Dead at Pasadena Motel, Investigation Underway

Police and coroner’s officials were investigating the death of a 21-year-old man at a Pasadena motel on Saturday morning, authorities said.

The death was reported about 7:30 a.m. at a motel in the 2000 block of East Colorado Boulevard, according to Pasadena police Lt. Javier Aguilar.

Officials responded to a report of a man found not breathing, he said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No indication of how the man died was initially available, however, Aguilar said there were no obvious signs of foul play initially noted at the scene.

An official cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
