Dress your little ones up in their Halloween costumes and come trick-or-treat in the garden to learn about the “spookier” side of nature! While searching for trick-or-treat stations, children will discover fun facts about the plants at each destination and receive a nature-based treat when they reach them. Stop at Discovery Tables along the route and visit with friendly hissing cockroaches, earthworms, bones and skulls, flesh eating beetles, carnivorous plants, and more to learn about how these amazing creatures are far more fabulous than frightening. Each family will receive a map of the trick or treat route with educational information about the stations, and each registered child will receive a bag to collect their nature-based treats in.
