AGLA Students Explore Science at Caltech Through Junior Watson Program

Students from Aveson Global Leadership Academy (AGLA) spent a day immersed in scientific discovery at California Institute of Technology as part of the Junior Watson Program – an invitation-only experience that brings high school students to campus to engage with real-world scientific learning connected to Caltech’s renowned Watson Lecture Series. The program introduces students to groundbreaking research taking place at Caltech while also offering insight into the admissions process and the day-to-day life of working scientists. During their visit, AGLA’s budding scientists toured the See Lab, enjoyed lunch at the historic The Athenaeum, and secured front-row seats for a Watson Lecture exploring sustainable batteries and the future of energy. The experience provided students with a rare behind-the-scenes look at cutting-edge research while inspiring the next generation of innovators.
