Alverno Heights Second Graders Explore Communities with iPads

Second graders at Alverno Heights Academy used their iPads to look up information about different types of communities—rural, urban, and suburban. By doing this, the students learned interesting facts about each kind of place, like how many people live there, what the houses look like, and what services are available. Using technology made the activity more engaging, and it helped them understand the differences in how people live in each type of community.
