Alverno High School’s “Adopt-a-Pillar” Campaign

Alverno High School recently announced the launching of it’s “Adopt-a-Pillar Campaign”! The “Adopt-a-Pillar Campaign” supports the renovation of the exterior of the school campus by replacing the existing perimeter fencing along Michillinda Avenue with wrought iron gates, pillars, and landscaping. The cost of each pillar, corresponding sections of the wrought iron fencing, and landscaping will be $5,600. Each “adopted” pillar will have a plaque attached to it, recognizing the generosity of the individual or group who made the installation of that pillar possible.

The City of Sierra Madre has requested that Alverno High School beautify the perimeter of its campus as the first step in its Master Plan, which is why the school is leading with the “Adopt-a-Pillar Campaign.” The success of this campaign will allow Alverno to move forward with the projects outlined in the plan, including construction of the much-needed Multi-Purpose Building, installation of a Soccer/Softball Field, and other campus improvements.

The entire school community is excited and ready to be part of this important fundraising campaign! For those who wish to extend their support for the “Adopt-a-Pillar Campaign” by making a donation today and help the Alverno High School take that important first step toward the completion of the Master Plan!
