Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School Hosts Vibrant Mardi Gras Celebration

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School (ABVM) came alive with color, music, and festive spirit during its recent Mardi Gras celebration. In a message shared by the school, organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to the dedicated sixth-grade families and students who brought the event to life. From planning to preparation, their hard work was evident throughout the day – especially in the homemade beignets, which were a delicious highlight enjoyed by many. The school community shared its gratitude for the time, care, and enthusiasm poured into making the celebration so special.

The festivities included a lively student parade filled with vibrant Mardi Gras costumes in traditional purple, green, and gold. Upbeat trumpet music set the tone as students marched joyfully, some tossing glittery party favors while others wore decorative masks. Balloons filled the space, and teachers and staff joined in the fun, sporting colorful costumes and caps. The event was a spirited display of creativity, unity, and school pride.
