Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School Welcomes Gators Back for a New School Year
“And just like that… we’re back!”
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School in Pasadena is welcoming its ABVM Gators back to campus today, August 26, as the 2026–2027 school year gets underway. The school community hopes all of its students are having an amazing first day and are ready for a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, friendship, and new experiences.
Next up is Back to School Night, giving parents an opportunity to hear important school updates, visit their child’s classroom, and meet their teachers. Both evenings will begin in the gym, and the events are for parents only.
Time: 6:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 26: TK–4th Grade
• Thursday, August 27: 5th–8th Grade
Tonight’s Back to School Night will give families a chance to connect with teachers, learn more about the year ahead, and become familiar with classroom expectations and activities. The following evening, parents of students in 5th through 8th grade will have the same opportunity to meet their children’s teachers and receive important information for the new school year.
As the halls and classrooms fill with familiar faces and new beginnings, ABVM looks forward to making the 2026–2027 school year a memorable one for its students, families, faculty, and staff.
“Here’s to a great 2026–2027 school year!”
