Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Students Selected for Prestigious Pasadena-Based Catholic Leadership Conference
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School (ABVM) is proud to announce that two of its students were selected to attend the The Association of Catholic Student Councils (TACSC) Student Leadership Conference, a distinguished Catholic leadership program headquartered in Pasadena that has been developing young leaders for nearly 30 years.
TACSC partners with Catholic elementary and junior high schools throughout California and across the United States to inspire students to become moral leaders who positively impact their schools, churches, and communities. Since its founding, the organization has worked with more than 1,240 school partners and served over 37,200 student delegates, making participation in the conference a meaningful honor for elementary school students.
The two ABVM students were selected for consistently demonstrating the values that define the school’s mission: faith, integrity, responsibility, compassion, and service to others. During the conference, they joined fellow student leaders from across California to strengthen their leadership abilities through workshops, collaboration, and activities rooted in Catholic values.

The conference holds special significance for ABVM because TACSC is headquartered in Pasadena, allowing students to participate in a nationally respected leadership organization with deep roots in the local community. Their participation reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to developing the whole child—academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
