Assumption’s Spirit Week Day 5: Gator Move-a-thon!

What a great Move-a thon on a Saturday morning! Assumption School of the Blessed Virgin Mary thanks everyone for their great participation in this very uplifting exercise. Simple changes to “online classroom” routines, like standing up to answer a question, going out to stretch in your backyard, walking your dog in your front yard or backyard, playing basketball in your backyard, cycling, etc…, could add up to overall “online school time” physical activity and lead to improved academic performance.

“Students who take part in these physical exercises do better in tests than peers who stick to just sedentary learning, according to a University College London study.” – Dr Emma Norris from UCL Centre for Behaviour Change and UCL Psychology & Language Sciences
