Assumption’s TK is Playing (and Learning) with Puppets and Fun

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School’s youngest students have been attending school remotely from home since August. We’ve still been having a lot of fun and being silly while learning with our classmates. Our three puppet friends help us learn new things while making us laugh.

Leo the Lion loves letter sounds and plays silly phonetic games with us. Cleo, Leo’s sister, comes out early during our “Good-Morning Song.” We greet everyone and talk about any news we want to share. Ollie the Owl is our word expert. She teaches amazing new words that go along with the stories we’re reading.

TK has also been having fun (and learning!) with singing & dancing during our “Brain-breaks,” and playing games like Bingo, I Spy, scavenger hunts, and hide-and-seek. Our TK class is amazing and have become little Zoom and tech experts! The kids make and post videos or pictures of what they learned on their hunts and quests around the house or outside.

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School is located at 2660 E. Orange Grove Blvd. in Pasadena. For further information please call (626) 793-2089 or visit https://school.abvmpasadena.org/.
