Aveson Charter Schools: Learning Basic Human Relations



There are so many cultures to explore. These Aveson Charter School TK students learn from a classmate’s family about the Korean Day of the Dead or Jesa and a game often played in Korean households. These students feel fortunate when Aveson families share their culture’s traditions with their classmates. These are ways by which teachers can help children to accept each other, to recognize their basic human similarities, and to learn from the cultural differences of their classmates.
