Aveson Independent Study Academy: Tailored Hybrid Learning for Elementary Scholars

The Aveson Independent Study Academy (AISA), offers a hybrid independent study experience for elementary students. This program combines highly personalized academic instruction at home with the social and academic benefits of being part of a school community. AISA encourages its scholars to explore their passions, build on their strengths, and maintain a growth mindset when facing challenges. From Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 6th grade, AISA scholars receive an exemplary education tailored specifically for them.
It’s A Partnership
Home educators, such as parents and guardians, play a crucial role in fostering inquisitive and resilient young individuals who think creatively. Independent study at AISA is a collaborative effort between the academy and home educators. AISA provides a variety of resources, including curriculum, elective classes, on-campus classroom opportunities, and instructional funds.

Credentialed advisors at AISA meet regularly with home educators to develop each scholar’s educational program. These advisors offer support at various levels, from answering questions and setting monthly teaching goals to providing resources and collaborating on targeted interventions to ensure scholars’ success.
