After diving into an extensive list of 14 titles, students from Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) brought their literary knowledge to life in an exciting, live trivia competition held at Thurgood Marshall Secondary School’s library. The event challenged participants to recall details, analyze themes, and think quickly under pressure – demonstrating not only their comprehension but also their enthusiasm for reading.

Congratulations to the outstanding teams who rose to the top:

Gold: Octavia E. Butler Magnet

Silver: Thurgood Marshall Secondary School

Bronze: Eliot Arts Magnet

The competition highlighted the dedication and teamwork of all participating students, as well as the vibrant reading culture across the district. Special thanks go to the school librarians whose guidance, encouragement, and passion for literature continue to inspire students to become lifelong readers.
