Blair High School and Middle School: Thriving While Driving

Traffic is a fact of life, but it seems that the jams around Blair High School at drop off/ pick up are EPIC this year. Blair can do better! Follow these rules of the road for the safety of students and the happiness of fellow drivers.

Middle School Families:
Access the middle school from the east, on Euclid, not Marengo (no left turn in front of the library)
Drop off on Allendale or Campus Drive, then take a right to go north on Marengo.

High School Families:
Use the far right lane on Marengo and drop off BY THE GYM. Pull forward. Pull forward MORE.
Continue south on Marengo, and turn left on Euclid.

All families:
DO NOT use the high school parking lot to drop off (the driveway is not wide enough for cars entering, exiting at the same time)
DO NOT park in the middle school parking lot while dropping off your child
DO NOT drop off next to the entrance to the parking lot. (Pull forward. Your student can walk!)
DO NOT make u-turns anywhere on Marengo
DO watch your surroundings for cyclists, walkers, students on skateboards, scooters, especially in crosswalks
DO consider carpooling, and for students to bike, walk and take the bus and Gold Line.

For students a short walk to school is a great way to start the day, and removing even a small number of cars from the area could have a big impact!
