Blair Seniors Participate in Caltech’s Summer Research Connection This Summer

Three Blair High School seniors participated in Caltech’s Summer Research Connection (SRC) this summer, committing six weeks to working on a science or engineering research project. This week they gave their final presentations. Max Steiman worked with Professor Doug Rees’s lab, characterizing a protein associated with nitrogenase. Hailey Soh worked with Professor Marianne Bronner, using zebrafish as a model to study inner ear hair cell regeneration. Kyle Lin worked with Professor Sunil Golwala, designing a component for a device that is being built to study dark matter. Blair congratulates Kyle, Hailey and Max… “we are Viking Proud of you!”
