Blair’s Vincent Velazco Awarded Posse Scholarship, Heads to Pepperdine for Sports Medicine

Blair High School and Middle School proudly recognizes Vincent Velazco, a recipient of the prestigious four-year, full-tuition Posse Scholarship. Vincent will be attending Pepperdine University, where he plans to major in sports medicine.

Vincent has always been passionate about athletics and physical fitness, attributing his interest to the guidance and support from his teachers. Throughout high school, Vincent played varsity soccer, contributed to the yearbook committee, participated in the College Access Plan, and was selected for UCLA’s Educational Outreach Program. As an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate and a recipient of the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, Vincent has demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to his education.

He expresses gratitude to his counselors for their dedication in connecting him with college and financial aid opportunities. Congratulations, Vincent!
