Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary High School (CSHM) welcomes its new head baseball coach Richard Escalera Sr. CSHM is excited to have Coach Escalera join its CSHM Cardinal Family.

Richard Escalera joins CSHM after 4 years as an assistant baseball coach at Pasadena City College (2016-2020). Coach Escalera began his coaching career at his alma mater Baldiwn Park High School as a football and baseball coach (1985-1991). Coach Escalera was an assistant baseball coach at Bishop Amat (1991-1999), the head baseball coach at Charter Oak (1999-2004), and an assistant baseball coach at Mt. SAC (2004-2016). Coach Escalera is married to his lovely wife Debbie and has 2 children Richie (32) and Angel (22).
