Carver Lunar New Year Celebration The Year of The Rabbit
Today, on Friday, January 20, 2023, Carver Elementary School PTA will be hosting a wonderful Lunar Year Celebration at Carver School campus.
The Carver PTA is ringing in the Lunar New Year 2023, Year of the Rabbit with a day of celebration! A special Chinese Lunch menu will be provided by the Carver cafeteria without additional charge this year.
On campus, there will be performances of traditional Lion Dance and Shaolin Martial Art demonstrations. During the play-time portion of lunch recess, students may visit game/craft booth on the blacktop by the library.
Schedule
9:40-10:20 Dragon Dance and Lion Dance performance along Carver hallways (ending at Kindergarten Yard)
10:20-10:50 Martial Art demonstration at blacktop.
11:00 -11:30 Art & Crafts Booth set-up (done by volunteers)
11:30-12:15. TK & Kindergarten lunch.
11:45-12:15 TK & Kindergarten Crafts & Game booths
12:00-12:45 Grade 1 & 2 lunch
12:15-12:45 Grade 1 & 2 Crafts & Game booths.
12:15-1:00 Grade 3 Lunch
12:30-1:00 Grade 3 Crafts & Game booths
12:30-1:15 Grade 4 & 5 Lunch
12:45-1:15. Grade 4 & 5 Crafts & game booths
