Carver’s 5th Grade Reading Buddies with 2nd Grade

Carver’s Reading Buddies program is working wonders with its students. 2nd Graders who need to improve their reading pair up with 5th graders who help and encourage them with their reading. Support of their fellow student is central to the program’s success.

According to US News: 91% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math at Carver Elementary School, and 90% scored at or above that level for reading (https://www.usnews.com/education/k12/california/carver-elementary-240499).
