Celebrating Black History Month at Norma Coombs Elementary

Norma Coombs Elementary School extends its heartfelt thanks to the African American Parent Council NCES and dedicated parent volunteers for organizing engaging and meaningful Black History Month activities for students this morning. Their thoughtful planning and enthusiastic involvement created an enriching experience that students genuinely enjoyed and learned from.

Through interactive activities and purposeful discussions, students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of history, culture, and community. The event reflected the power of collaboration and the positive impact of family involvement in education. The school community sincerely appreciates the time, effort, and commitment invested in making the celebration both memorable and educational. Thank you for supporting students and helping bring history to life in such a meaningful way.
