Chandler School’s Center for Innovation

Last year, members of the Board of Trustees, administration and leadership donors broke ground on building an interdisciplinary space for collaborative, hands-on teaching and learning. This new space will become an extension of its classrooms and support the existing curriculum, including maker, robotics, engineering, STEAM, design-thinking and project-based learning.

With three levels, the new building will serve as a space for collaboration and will house a Music and Performing Arts Studio, an Innovation Lab and a flexible learning classroom.

It will also inspire its faculty and students to implement new ideas and provide flexible areas that will adapt to the program and the needs of the students and teachers. Located in the center of the school, the new building will be used by all students K-8.

Chandler School is grateful to its dedicated community of donors who have championed its ambitious plan. The school eagerly anticipate the opening of the new building in the fall of 2020.
