Chromebooks for Students

Almost immediately after the pandemic hit, Learning Works Charter School learned just how much of a gap in technology exists for poor families. The organization have been struggling to provide technology to students in order to assist them with distance learning and basic access to an internet connection. People are answering the call for help! Learning Works have had an amazing donation of 100 Chromebooks from Give Mentor Love Foundation. PUSD bought 40 Chromebooks for its students who are in special education. And the All Saints team generously gave three Chromebooks in addition to the daily meals delivered to the school and keeping its pantry full!

Chasers are busy dropping devices off to students’ houses where they often find them living in cramped spaces trying to find connectivity. Learning Works thanks the Webster Foundation, the Pasadena Community Foundation for its grant of COVID-19 relief funds, and the many individual donors that have stepped in to support its students and families!
