Creative Arts Media and Design 10th Grade Project CAMAD Remembers

The Pasadena High School Creative Arts Media and Design 10th grade project CAMAD Remembers: Focus on survivors is now live at https://goreckialicia.wixsite.com/camad/camad-remembers (looks best on desktop)

The CAMAD teaching team is so very proud of the work from its 10th grade students. As teaching and learning went into emergency remote education, the group considered rescheduling the project. However, after conversations with students they knew they were ready to take it on. The collective response to the work from students was that “learning about the incredible struggles these groups of people experienced helped put their own current situation in perspective” PHS is proud to showcase the work from its students and to highlight the idea that light can come from dark.

On these project CAMAD honors survivors from Cambodia, Darfur, Rwanda, Armenia, The Holocaust and Holodomor.

The Visual Arts and Design Academy (VADA) in Creative Arts Media and Design (CAMAD) at Pasadena High School is a studio arts focused program within PUSD. Students explore traditional and digital media cross curricular integrated projects and daily studio practice.
