Crestview Preparatory School Host First Debate for Golden West League of Los Angeles

Crestview Preparatory School (CPS) hosted their first debate for the Golden West League of Los Angeles recently. CPS welcomed about 250 to 300 debaters and their families on its campus with a great deal of accolades. Crestview fourth place trophies in overall wins and percentage of wins and two of the 3-person teams qualified for regionals, which will be hosted at Poly mid-April. This is a tremendous accomplishment for the inaugural debate team as only eight teams represent the league from the total thirty teams. The tournament will be tough as only the best of the best in the region will be debating; all but the league will have seventh and eighth grade teams competing. The season will end for the debate team at the end of May at their last debate of the 2015-2016 season.
