Dilan Clark Named New Football Coach at Pasadena High School

Pasadena High School introduces its new Football Coach. Born and raised in Pasadena, CA, Coach Dilan Clark will be entering his 12th year of coaching. He attended Upland High School, where he was a varsity player for 3 years and was a member of their CIF championship team.

This will be his first job as a head coach. Coach Clark has served as an offensive coordinator for the past eight years, both at Claremont High School and Alta Loma High School. He has also been an assistant at the collegiate level.

Coach Clark truly has a passion for serving others whether it’s volunteering at Sunday school or being a helping hand to the less fortunate in the communities he works in, something he will encourage his athletes to do as well.

Coach Clark is thankful to be back in the city that raised him and is ready to get to work for the season ahead.

Clark replaces DeJuan Shamburger who began with the program in 2009 as an assistant and assumed the head coaching duties in 2016. During his time as head coach the overall record was 41 – 31. In his last three seasons the team was 24 – 5 and they won three straight Pacific League titles. In 2021 the team advanced to the Division 7 semifinals. In addition, the Bulldogs beat John Muir High School in the Annual Turkey Tussle the last two years which includes their 47 – 0 victory in 2022.
