Five La Salle Seniors Named 2025 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists
La Salle College Preparatory is thrilled to announce that five of its outstanding seniors have been named Semifinalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program! Congratulations to Jake Hoskins ‘25, Ethan Lin ‘25, Annie Liu ‘25, Xinyan Liu ‘25, and Lucas Truong ‘25 for placing in the top 1% of PSAT scorers nationwide—a testament to their hard work and dedication.
These five students are now one step closer to earning National Merit Scholarships, which include awards of a $2,500 scholarship, corporate-sponsored scholarships, and college-sponsored scholarships. Finalists will be announced in February 2025.
Beyond the PSAT, their students continue to excel, with ACT and SAT scores surpassing national averages. Seventy-six percent scored a 3 or higher on their AP exams, and 52% achieved a score of 4 or higher, marking an improvement from previous years.
