Flintridge Prep Students Shine at CAIS Honors Music Festival

On Friday, students from Flintridge Preparatory School’s vocal and instrumental classes traveled to Calabasas to attend the CAIS Honors Music Festival. Four members of the Flintridge Singers joined dozens of other vocalists from nearby independent schools to perform under guest conductor Dr. Ernest Harrison. According to choral director Clara Valenzuela, “It was an exciting opportunity for students to perform at a high level of musicianship and learn some challenging repertoire.” It was also a full-circle moment: Ms. Valenzuela attended the festival herself as a high school student.
