Flintridge Preparatory Middle School Community Service Day – Making Costumes for Kids in Need & Books for Students in Malawi

For Flintridge Preparatory Middle School Community Service Day, students made costumes for kids in need, books for students in Malawi, and puzzles for patients with dementia. They also hiked around La Cañada to pick up trash and helped Ms. Basilio with landscaping around Prep’s campus. This is the first of two days this year that students will pause their academic studies to help others, the community, and the environment. The goal is to instill in them a commitment to service that will continue into high school and beyond.
