After a year of virtual Performing Arts performances that continued to wow attendees over Zoom, the spring musical production of “Legally Blonde, Jr.”—the first live, in-person musical in over a year—brought forth feelings of levity and humor for many attendees.

Over two weekends, two incredible casts brought to life the story of Elle Woods, which originally made its debut on the movie screen before being turned into a Broadway musical.

Directed by Austin Roy, the play featured two casts throughout the two weekends it ran in Norris Auditorium. Silvia Gibilaro ’23 and Angela Henderson ’22 both played Elle Woods and Oscar Yum ’23 and Liam Chia ’22 played Warner Huntington III.

FPS was excited that both casts were able to perform without masks on the Saturday, March 12 performances after LA County lifted the indoor mask mandate.
