Flintridge Sacred Heart Celebrates Junior Ring Ceremony

The annual tradition is one of Flintridge Sacred Heart’s most beloved traditions, with seniors presenting class rings to the juniors. Thank you to all the parents and community members who joined us for this fun and sentimental event.

Flintridge Sacred Heart is celebrating its annual tradition of exchanging rings this fall during its Junior Ring Ceremony.

A total of 96 seniors and 88 juniors participated in the annual tradition held at the school. Seniors exchange class rings with juniors in a celebration of friendship and sisterhood.

This year, the community honored Principal Sister Celeste M. Botello with 20 roses to represent her 20 years of service at the school. The 2022-2023 school year will be Sister Celeste’s final year with Flintridge Sacred Heart as she moves into a new role as Congregational Prioress of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose.

The ceremony was planned and organized by Carol Jones, Junior Moderator, and the amazing 10 members of Junior board, led by Isabelle Risha who is president.

“Our Junior Ring ceremony unites all our students with the 90 year tradition of our amazing school. It represents the sisterhood and lifelong connection the students will have with Flintridge sacred Heart. You never really leave the Hill,” said AP Statistics/Calculus Teacher and Lead Junior Moderator Carol Jones.. . .
